CALIFORNIAN SEA LIONS 

Sea lions are incredible animals to interact with either through scuba diving, free diving or snorkelling.  The Californian Sealion is one of the most curious and intelligent marine mammals and can actively seek out human interaction.

Sea Lions interactions are the main reason many scuba divers visit La Paz. We are proud at The Dive Gurus to be able to say we "wrote the book on Los Islotes". Our owner and founder Luke Inman published the award-winning book "Los Islotes - The Jewel of Espritu Santo". Los Islotes is the jewel of the protected area and marine reserve. There are very few locations in the world so close to a big city that allow for wild animal interactions like Los Islotes.
