PADI ENRICHED AIR COURSE

• Minimum age:  15 years 
• Medically fit for diving

Diving with enriched air (commonly called nitrox) requires using a tank filled with a higher concentration of oxygen and a lower concentration of nitrogen.  This allows you to extend your no-decompression limits, especially on repetitive scuba dives and reduces the length of your minimum surface interval between dives. 
If you are a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enrol in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. 
 
What will you learn?
 
You will learn how breathing a higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gas gives you more bottom time, along with special equipment considerations taken by enriched air divers.  During a practical session and two scuba dives you will:

• Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
• Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba cylinder.
• Set your dive computer for diving with various concentrations of enriched air.

The price of this course includes all equipment rental, boat use fees (for open water dives), tanks, weights, lunch and refreshments during the training.
